Hotel Reymar - Malgrat de Mar

WiFi was only in the bar, a bummer. Staff were lovely, though!

My daughter contracted gastroenteritis on our 2nd day. She was given a special diet to follow and the staff were fantastic and arranged meals for her with little or no notice.

The only thing I can fault is that you only get a free drink ( tea, coffee, fruit juice) with breakfast. All other meals, drinks have to be purchased. Also, you are not allowed to buy drinks or food/snacks from the local shops and drink/eat them within the hotel grounds (except In your room). I would highly recommend that you take a travel kettle and your own tea coffee with you as you can easily spend €200 in a week on drinks for 2 people.

We had a pleasant stay for the really wonderful vacation.

The room was spotless and equipped with a brilliant view, nice balcony, Wi-Fi as described. The location was marvellous and absolutely perfect, and we could reach David Rent Quads and Buggies by walking.

Free Wi-Fi in public areas was great for planning activities. Room was very small.

The breakfast is savoury and varied with fish and meat, and the service is very good. The hotel's staff are hard-working.

Free parking, food is different every day (quite good but not sophisticated, we liked it), you can eat the dinner from 1pm. Until 21 pm., Hotel is near the beach and shops. Swimming pool and free loungers.

Loudly - 2 nights until 3 o'clock am. (Because of other new visitors), uncomfortable beds and air condition wasn't working good (we didn't feel the cool air), but we were in May and there weren't many hot days.

Comfortable and Clean with Room for Improvement

The central location made it easy to explore nearby bars and restaurants. The beach was just a 5-minute walk away. One area needing improvement would be the dining options, as the evening meals carried a rather bland school dinner vibe.

The nightly entertainment with world-class cocktails made our evenings fun!

While the location was fantastic, the noise from nearby discos could be quite distracting at night.

Friendly staff, clean surroundings, the location is fantastic as it's just a short walk to the beach and local shops, making it easy to explore the area.

The room was a bit cramped, hard to squeeze past the bed to the balcony. Breakfast was ok, but evening meals were poor with tough cooked meats.

Food was good, proper lekker buffet with lots of choices at brekkie. Staff were chill, always a smile at the bar! The location is really nice, just a quick walk to the beach and shops, ja!

The drains smell terrible!!! The hotel is noisy at night due to nearby disco and trains passing. Extra care on cleanliness in certain areas would be beneficial!!! Poor ventilation in rooms is inconvenient!!!

My children wished there were more family-friendly activities available in the evenings.
